But not very many of the new 78's, seems people like the 4 door option moreso.

Those 70's are 100% drool factor! Do any of you guys have any plans to fit bigger exhausts or management upgrades, eg D-tronic??

Yes I do have plans to fit a 3" exhaust and a 'chip'. Just got to wait for the dollars to be saved up and figure out which products suit.

There's a local 4WD mag here in WA called 'Western 4WDer'. The editor of the mag has V8 79 series, fitted a 3" exhaust (taipan I think) and trialed a few different ECU interceptor chip units on it. The steinbaur (spelling??), TUnit and DPChip. I think from memory they all gave similar results, but the steinbaur was too expensive (need 2 units to cater for the 8 cylinders), and the DPChip wasn't as adjustable as the TUnit he stayed with. There was articles with dyno charts, etc spread out over 4 issues or so. Made for interesting reading anyhow.
